Mintor Terms of Service
Effective date: October 29, 2026. Renamed to Mintor; plan prices and the refund policy updated.
1. Who operates Mintor
Mintor is operated by Andrew Shim as a sole proprietor. Contact getmintorapp@gmail.com with service, privacy or account questions. These terms describe public educational guest access, the separately restricted paper workspace and any separately enabled read only account features.
2. Eligibility and your account
You must be at least 18 to use Mintor. Public guest access does not require an account. For the private workspace, use your own Google account and provide accurate information. Keep your sign in secure, do not share access, and notify us if you suspect unauthorized use. Never enter brokerage passwords, API secrets or government identification numbers into paper trading fields.
3. What the current service provides
Public guest access offers educational AI, a local hypothetical calculator and optional browser-only conversation storage and export. AI answers can be incorrect and have no retrieved live sources. Guest AI is limited to three attempts per network per UTC day within a shared service limit of 300 attempts; failures and withheld replies count. Guest conversations are not saved to an account or backed up by Mintor. The separately restricted private workspace lets approved users save fictional paper experiments and review their history. Prices, fees and results are simulated or manually assumed, not live market quotes or actual investment results. Paper gains cannot be withdrawn. The service does not currently place, modify or cancel brokerage orders, make personalized investment recommendations or operate a live AI trading bot. Andrew Shim is not a registered investment adviser. Nothing here promises returns, accuracy or a particular financial outcome.
4. Separately enabled read only connections
Brokerage connections are not enabled for the public beta. If we separately enable read only access after the required approvals, you must authorize the connection through the provider. You may only connect accounts you are authorized to access. A provider's consent may cover more than one linked account. Displayed account information may be delayed, incomplete or unavailable; check the original brokerage before making a financial decision. Read only access does not authorize Mintor to trade. Disconnecting the integration does not close your brokerage account. Provider terms apply to the services they supply. Any future trading feature requires separate review and authorization before it is enabled.
5. Fees, renewal, cancellation and refunds
Public guest access and the current free paper workspace do not require a payment card. Guest access does not activate a paid plan. Where paid checkout is explicitly enabled, the monthly subscription prices are Analyst $50, Strategist $120 and Inner Circle $300 in US dollars, and Starter is free. Yearly billing, where offered, costs ten times the monthly price. Review the available features, usage limits and total shown in checkout before paying. A displayed plan or a test checkout does not enroll you in a real subscription.
A paid subscription renews monthly until canceled. Cancel through Billing and subscription, then Manage or cancel subscription. Scheduled cancellation takes effect at the end of the current paid period shown in the billing portal. If the controls are unavailable, contact getmintorapp@gmail.com for help. Deleting the app or signing out does not cancel a subscription.
You can cancel anytime and keep access until the end of the period you paid for. Payments are non-refundable, including partial periods, except where the law requires otherwise. Questions about a charge go to getmintorapp@gmail.com with your account email and receipt or invoice identifier. Do not send passwords or full payment card details. Nothing in this policy limits rights that cannot legally be excluded.
Approved beta access is assigned to an individual account under the tester agreement. Sharing a link does not transfer that access. Paid plans do not guarantee investment results, answer accuracy or brokerage execution.
6. Acceptable use
Do not access another person's account without permission, attempt to bypass security or capacity limits, disrupt the service, or use it for unlawful activity. We may restrict access to address misuse, security incidents or service capacity. Contact us if you believe a restriction is mistaken.
7. Your data and content
For public guests, the separate guest privacy disclosure explains AI sharing, local storage and temporary network counters. You retain your rights to information you provide. We may process it only as needed to provide and protect the service as described in our Privacy Policy at https://getmintor.com/paper-account#privacy. You can download paper history and request account deletion using the account controls. Backup retention and deletion safeguards are explained in that policy. We do not use customer data for cross-user model training or advertising tracking.
8. Availability and limitations
Public guest AI has shared free capacity limits. Private account features remain limited. Features, account capacity and background scheduling may be limited or interrupted. We do not promise uninterrupted access, error-free software, investment suitability or preservation of every record. Keep your own exports of records you need. Nothing in these terms excludes any consumer rights or liability that cannot legally be excluded.
9. Changes and ending use
We may update the service and these terms. Updates will show their effective date, and material changes will be communicated in the service before applying to future use. New charges or brokerage permissions require separate consent. You may stop using the service at any time and use the account controls to export or delete your data. If we discontinue the beta, we will aim to provide notice and an opportunity to export records where practicable.
10. Questions and disputes
Please contact getmintorapp@gmail.com so we can try to resolve an issue. These terms do not require arbitration or waive access to courts or rights available under applicable law.
